Hosted By Tribe Byron Bay in various venues across the beautiful Northern Rivers NSW, the Wildfire Festival is a grassroots festival of workshops and talkshops exploring and celebrating the creativity and justice heart of Heaven and it’s expression on Earth through communities of engaged, activated and passionate people.

As followers of Christ, we have been called, mandated and resourced by heaven to live lives on earth that engage with Gods heart for justice. Creativity expressed in its many diverse ways and forms, is a powerful tool through which we as the bride can give hope, cast vision, influence and see change released in the earth.

The 2016 Wildfire Festival is ALL about workshops!

The heart and vision for Wildfire is not only that we would receive a head full of information but that space is created through workshops, for people to practically engage with and get activated in various forms of creativity.

This year Wildfire will not have any large corporate gatherings over the weekend as it has in past years. Rather many of  Tribes creative, talented and passionate local artists and leaders will be running different workshops designed to inspire and activate you in your justice heart and area of creative passion and gifting.

These workshops have been customised to awaken something powerful in each of us so that we can reach our maximum potential in glorifying God through our gifts and have loads of fun along the way! All our speakers are passionately and actively involved in their particular sphere of influence and have a wealth of expertise and wisdom to pour out.

SATURDAY MORNING WORKSHOPS

Paul Robertson – Stewarding Prophetic Vision

TIME  2 – 4pm  |  LOCATION – Tribe Office

Paul Robertson has a Diploma in Life Coaching and is a Personal Trainer with many years experience. As a personal trainer, life coach and public speaker Paul helps people take action on their health, fitness and lifestyle aspirations. In this coaching workshop, Paul delves into discovering your prophetic vision for your business and how to run with it.

This three hour workshop will include theory, prophesy and practical coaching activities for people to get a clear prophetic vision for their creative or justice project and create a plan of action they can begin to apply for it. Habakkuk 2:2 “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it”.

Dance workshop: Freedom and Strength – Iley Rushton

TIME  10 – 1pm  |  LOCATION – Byron Bay Primary School Hall

This group workshop follows the 2 two themes of Freedom and Strength. The first part of the workshop explores in movement the scripture “Where the Spirit of The Lord is there is freedom” (2 Cor 3:17): Freedom is the ability to act without hinderance or restraint. This group based movement workshop addresses areas where captivity resides, and makes enquiries around how to find justice and freedom for those held in captivity. Maximum 12 people.

The second part of the workshop builds on the freedom theme and is founded on the verse ‘in my weakness He is strong’ (2 Cor 12:10). Together we will ask the question “what does weakness look like?”, then; experientially explore this using movement. This workshop will use strength based techniques to respond by leaning on the strength God gives, and brings, to us in our times of weakness. Maximum 12 people.
